About Me
I am a born and raised Minnesotan. For undergrad, I attended the University of Minnesota: Twin Cities earning my degree in Honors Biology and German Studies. Afterward, I attended the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Maryland for medical school. It was at this time that I joined the U.S. Army. After medical school, I moved to El Paso, Texas for my internship and residency training in Orthopedic Surgery.
After graduating from residency, I PCSed to Camp Humphreys, South Korea. Currently, I work as a Generalist Orthopedic Surgeon at Brian D. Allgood Army Community Hospital. After my year in Korea, I will be going to Ohio State University for fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Oncology.
I have a Great Dane named Siegfried who is 3 years old and 170 pounds
My research interests are in osseointegration, amputee care, and outcomes from limb-preservation surgeries.
